- The Friday night and Saturday night play parties will now
be held on site at the hotel since Passive Arts Studios, the
roiginal site of the play parties, is now closed as a result of
yesterday's fire. There will be separate pllay spaces for men
and women, as well as a pansexual space for all genders. Reserve
your hotel room now and stay over and play. |

- Our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of
John Lavine, who passed away today in a fire at Passive Arts
Studios. John was the owner of Passive Arts and an incredible
supporter of International Olympus, and of our community as a
whole. His passing is a great loss to us all and he will
be missed, but never forgotten. Rest In Peace John... |

Olympus Leather Weekend are now posted on the web site. The Workshop Schedule for this year is
very impressive and features a number of notable Presenters who
have never before presented in Los Angeles, as well as a number
of local favorites. |

- The deadline for Presenter Application is now past and
are being evaluated. Thank you to everyone who submitted a
proposal. There are some great workshops being scheduled The
list of this year's Presenters will be published on Wednesday
July 14th. The Presentation Schedule will be posted on Friday
July 16th. |

- International Olympus Leather and The Pantheon of Leather
Awards welcome The Los Angeles Ponies ans Critters Group in the
first "Derby Day", being held Sunday August 15 from 1-3pm. This
is a fund-raiser for The Humane Society, so come in your "race
track finest" and place your bets!!! Races incluse The Pony
Race, Steeplechase, Greyhound Race and a Kitty & Critter Race.

- As of today, all the 16th Floor Tower Suites are SOLD
OUT. There are still some syandard rooms available, so if you're
planning to attend, reserve your room NOW !!! You can do so here
on the web site by clicking on the "Hotel" button on the left
when you enter yhe web site.. Remember, it does not cost you
anything to reserve the room, you are billed at departure. |

submissions for classes and workshops for this year's event.
Presenters interested in submitting a proposal should email

with the title of the presentation, a brief description of the
presentation, materials needed for the presentation, length of
time if more than 60 minutes are required, a brief bio and
history of where you gave presented in the past. You may also
submit a photo. |

produced in association with Los Angeles Ponies and Critters

Nominees were announced at IML. Congratulations to all who were
